Mother opened the front door. Standing before her was a strange little figure. He was dressed in green from head to toe. He wore an elf costume--tight leggings, a long belted tunic, an elf cap, and little green elf slippers. The most surprising thing, however, was the green mask covering his face. It was a lumpy, bumpy, rubbery frog's face with a wide, orange mouth.

About the Book
In this whimsical tale, a strange little being shows up unexpectedly at a Halloween party. He is friendly and enjoys himself while saying only one word. The book becomes a story within a story when Mother entertains the children with a “witch's tale.” Who is the Little elf-frog, and will he ever be seen again? You decide.
About the Author
I have a BA in humanities from Rutgers University and have done graduate work in elementary education at what is now Keane University. I have eleven years of teaching experience, having taught grades two through five. I’ve also worked with children who have learning disabilities in the public schools. Now widowed, I am the mother of three and the grandmother of seven. Currently, I live alone in a senior community and write a monthly poetry column for our community magazine. I have written another children's book entitled Grandma’s Visit to Eva Chloe, and it’s available as an e-book at Amazon.com.
