About the Author

Patricia Faison-Hester was born and raised in Fairmount section of Philadelphia Pennsylvania before moving onto Brewerytown section of North Philadelphia. She presently resides in New Jersey with her husband Darryl Sr. and children. Patricia aka Pat is one of seven children and the daughter of Annie Lee Green-Faison-Medlock Pat is one of our newest writers to join the poetry circle and this is her first published book. She wrote most of her poems on her train ride as she road to and from work each day. She swore herself secrecy as she wrote her manuscript fore she wanted to surprise her family while she anxiously awaited her book release. There is no doubt that this will be an exciting time for the first time author. Pat is an advocate for education and continues to take courses at her local college. Pat plans to continue writing in her spare time with hopes to someday publish a second book.
