About the Book

This book is the story of my incredible journey across Africa (from South to North) and through Europe with my first husband, Ray, who, sadly—at the end of it—wanted a divorce from me.

About the Author

I am seventy-seven years of age, have never written a book in my life, but felt I should copy all these fun events down from my original diary, which was written in 1960—fifty-two years ago. I have had a happy and sad life, but somehow I always manage to get up, shake myself off, and get on with life even though I have had many years of spinal problems and operations.
