About the Author
Devyn Rose may be a mother of two boys, but she still knows a lot about little girls! As a Kindergarten teacher, Devyn was smitten with the little girls in her classroom. She loved how observant they were about what she wore to work. She appreciated how inquisitive they were about what she did outside of school and she was always amazed by the clever and comedic comments they made all day long. Those treasured moments inspired her to write The Little Girls series. Her father, creative director and artist, Tommy Velardi, has skillfully illustrated her series. Tommy’s life-long love of art, as well as his life-long love for his own “little girl” author Devyn Rose, helped him create the endearing little girls that perfectly complement his daughter’s writing
