This Too Shall Pass

Have you ever wondered why God takes you down a path of life that you didn’t want to be on ? Through the road That Flossie McKinzie was taken down, she hopes to show other Christians how with prayer and believing that God can do the impossible and help you to see beyond your own circumstances. God is truly in control of your life and that he will never give you more than you can handle. You may take the wrong path at times in life but God always seems to know how to bring you back to the one he wants you on, if you only leave your heart open to him, he will show you the way. Trust in God , for he loves you to much to make a mistake. By reading the life story of Flossie, you’ll discover that when you think you have control of your own life, God has a way of bringing you back to his will for your life. Overcoming life’s adversities and broken dreams with a new purpose for a life full of joy and contentment from God’s healing power and forgiveness.
One of the saddest stories in the book is when Flossie lost her son Teddy who was only a few days old. The doctor called him a blue baby which meant his lungs couldn’t expand enough to hold
All the oxygen that his poor little body needed to survive. The heartache that she felt was so unbearable if not for the love of God to comfort her and help her through it. Here is another part of the story, about Teddy’s funeral. Flossie recalls as she puts a tissue to her nose. “they brought a little white casket and sat it in the back of the room. Her husband Don helped Flossie make her way across the room and she looked at her beautiful baby boy”. She said as a tear rolled down her cheek. “He was dressed in a white gown, and his dark hair seemed to shine as if it were a peace of dark coal.” She smiled “ the casket was lined with soft white satin, that reminded me of those soft fluffy clouds floating in the sky, Teddy looked so comfortable, and believe it or not, I saw his finger twitch. Did you see that mother ? He is not dead ! she cried “I just saw his finger move” Flossie bent over and picked up Teddy, she held his cold, stiff body tight to her chest and began to rock him back and forth. Flossie’s story is amazing and you will really enjoy it.
