About the Author

As a former educator, the author wanted to re-introduce adventure into kids’ lives. She recognizes life in today’s era of computers, I-pads, I-phones and I-gaming as an impediment to reading and physical activities. As a challenge to computerized games, the author wanted to encourage children to go outside the I, outside the notepads, cell phones, electronic games—to actively experience life back in the real world and to intelligently solve life’s riddles by using their own imagination.
