About the Author
Natalie Barnhouse, MS, NCC is a National Certified Counselor specializing in children and an early childhood educator with more than 12 years experience working in the field. Over the years she discovered the power of using books and art to develop children's social and emotional understanding, in regards to both themselves and others. Her personal favorite, however, are books that are fun to read with engaging illustrations, as this helps to connect the content to the audience, and are the the type of books she has always selected for herself and her family. Natalie is an animal lover and a travel enthusiast. She lives in Bend, Oregon with her husband and two young sons.
