The Making of a Beautiful Vessel Putting it all Together and Moving Ahead It’s time to pick up the pieces of your life and move ahead, you’ve got to keep building. After everything you have experienced, endured, and encountered the Lord wants you to pick up the pieces, put it all together and move ahead. No longer will you be held captive by your struggle, loss, and pain. He is calling for order in the midst of it all. Moses led the children of Israel out of Egypt and as time continued he had to release leadership of the Israelites. Moses had to pass it on to the next generation. God put things together so the children of Israel could continue to move straight ahead. In your life God is putting things in order so you can continue to move ahead. This is your time to move ahead, therefore, it is imperative that you keep building upon that in which Christ has given you. God is putting things together so the blessings can flow continuously from generation to generation. There shall no longer be a gap between the different generations. God has prepared someone to take the next step and move ahead. Because God is putting it all together the previous generation will supply the next generation with what they need to move ahead. “1 Moses went out and spoke these words to all Israel: 2 I am now a hundred and twenty years old and I am no longer able to lead you. 7 Then Moses called Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, “Be strong and of good courage, for you must go with this people to the land which the LORD has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall cause them to inherit it. 8 And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed” (Deuteronomy 31:1-2, 7-8, NIV). We witnessed how the Lord allowed Moses to prepare Israel for the next move of God, utilizing their new successor Joshua. Moses had to pass the knowledge and blessings on to the next generation. He encouraged Joshua’s heart for the call. It was now time for Joshua to get up and move forward. “23 The LORD gave this command) to Joshua son of Nun: “Be strong and courageous, for you will bring the Israelites into the land I promised them on oath, and I myself will be with you” (Deuteronomy 31:23 NIV). The Lord encouraged Joshua and gave him instructions for leading the people. The Lord was pulling it all together prior to Moses’ death. He was not going to leave the people empty handed and He will not leave you empty handed. He’s pulling it all together for you right now. He has given you the plan for your life and has created you into a beautiful vessel. He has blessed you to be able to achieve what He has called you to do. Now be strong and courageous, walk in His authority, and do it. He said, “I will be with you,” therefore you have no excuse. You must walk towards the things He is calling you to. Put it all together and move ahead. No longer wrestle or struggle with what you think is right, but go ahead and move forward in your ministry, in serving Christ, and in your worship. It’s time to move ahead in doing kingdom work. Passing the blessings on to the next generation: As sons and daughters of the King are you passing the blessings on to the next generation? You have an obligation to pass it down to multiple generations. You do not have the right to stop the blessings from flowing from one generation to the next. In the picture below we see four different generations and each generation is passing the blessings to the next generation. Then when you get to the fourth generation there should be multiple blessings at his feet. He will have mountain of opportunities in life, he can be whatever he wants to be. On the side you see the soldier who is always in the army of the Lord. As a family being in God’s army the blessings, promises are yes and amen. The opportunities are great. You can receive multiple blessings being passed to you from multiple places but the one receiving the blessings must know and understand what to do with the blessing. Do not waste your blessings on prodigal living. Stay in God’s army of life and he will train, teach, guide, and instruct you concerning your blessings, for you have been predestined for purpose.

You have been predestined for purpose. Life has an eternal meaning and purpose, therefore, God has a purpose for you beyond where you are today. Have you allowed your life to be an open door for bad habits, negative talk, and frustration? Do you desire to be free? Do you desire for God’s love, peace, and healing to be released to you? God is in the process of making you into a beautiful vessel; therefore, you must release the old vessel with its bad habits, negative talk, and frustration; yield to His will and repent. Now open the door of your heart, to a fresh start, with vibrant ideas and intriguing creativity. Come with me as we give our self totally to God and allow Him to mold and shape us into that beautiful vessel of honor, one that is fit for His Kingdom. God is not limited by our abilities; we must step aside and allow Him to work on our behalf. This book entitled, “The Making of a Beautiful Vessel” will challenge you to take heed on how you build your life in Jesus as spoken in the scripture, “You are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building let each one take heed how he builds on it.” - 1 Corinthians 3:9-10 NKJV. As sons and daughters of the King you have an unlimited amount of potential and abilities. There are no limits to what you will be able to accomplish through Christ, He has all power, so dream big, believe big, and receive much.
About the Author
IRIS DUPREE-WILKES is consumed with an overwhelming urgency to get the “good news” into the hands, hearts, and minds of every man, woman, boy and girl on the face of this earth. She was born the youngest of five children to Connie Mack and Olivia Dupree in Greenville, North Carolina. She is married to Michael Wilkes and they have two beautiful children O’Mar Damon and Alexis DaiZnae’. She accepted the Lord as her own personal savior in 1996, under the leadership of her pastors Apostle Charles and Lisa Lewis (ACM). At this time a seed was planted on fertile ground and was nurtured over the years. However it was not until after her father passed in 1999 that the seed began to grow and she truly surrendered her all to God and began to put every thought and dream inspired by God to paper. Thus, Iris Dupree-Wilkes, the author was born. She is committed to the work of the Lord and is always mindful of the great commission and is diligent in encouraging those surrounded by her to do the same. In 2003 she accepted the call from God to minister and delivered her initial sermon entitled “Get Up and Lets Go”. She has been going strong ever since. Minister Iris Wilkes currently works with the Outreach Ministry and serves as a teacher for the Education Department at Antioch Church Ministries. She gladly accepts any opportunity which will enable her to put a tract into the hands of those she encounters.
