About the Author
I am a retired minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). In the course of my ministry, as I sought to engage the scripture, I developed a variety of means toward fruitful and spiritual reflection, these Reflective Prayers being one of them. They emerge as my spiritual life and my professional life engage one another. I live in retirement in the northern panhandle of West Virginia with my wife of over forty four years, our two dogs and four cats. We live in the country, among the gas wells now proliferating here. We are glad to be where we are at this time of our lives. We have five daughters, four sons in law and eleven grandchildren scattered from the west coast to France.
