About the Book

Mommy Where is Daddy is a book that tells the story of the emotions and feelings of a child when they lose a parent. Inspired by the Johnson’s loss in 2009. Mommy Where Is Daddy is a first-hand account of the mind of the Johnson Family loss. And how she dealt with the feelings and emotions that transpired after her Mother broke the news of their loss to her Family. When Mackayla is given the news that her Father would not be coming home, she has been forced to deal with something she can’t quite comprehend. But once she is able to sort through her thoughts and feelings, she comes up with a logical explanation of where and why her Father is no longer with her.

About the Author

Rasheeda Hampton- Johnson is a native Washingtonian currently residing in Asheville, NC. She has dealt with grief and loss on a personal level, and shares her story to help others. And believes that this book can minister and help all that read it. She has three children that were the inspiration for her writing this book. She is in charge of the Children’s Ministry at her Church in Asheville.
