"Hey, Sam, look over there." Joey pointed in the direction of the ship which seemed to be slowly drifting towards them. "What do you suppose that is doing there?" " I don't know;but it looks really cool," replied Sam. I don't see anybody on deck, do you?" " No I don't " replied Joey. The boat continued to drift closer until it finally bumped against the shoreline. Then all of a sudden, a rope ladder which was fastened to the side of the ship; unrolled all by itself!

About the Author
After completing a year long creative writing course, I felt that it was finally time to write the children's book that I have wanted to do for quite some time. A story that appeals to a child's sense of adventure and natural curiosity to explore and have fun. At the same time deliver a message of social conscience. I wanted to write a book that parents everywhere could feel good about reading to their child. I live in upstate New York with my husband and two sons and love to garden and cook as well as working part time in a local jewelry store.
