Little Bear is a story about a bear, born in a small cave during the winter while his mother was in hibernation. Now it is spring, and he is experiencing the world for the first time. Read the book and experience his adventure.

About the Author

Claudia J. Verville, author of Little Duckie Doodle, Piggy with the Curly Tail, and now Little Bear, lives with her husband Geron, in Michigan in the summer and in Arizona during the winter. Raised in Iron River, Michigan, Claudia lived for years in Ashland, Wisconsin, where she and her husband raised their three children. She is proud to be a registered nurse, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. All three of her stories were found among the papers her mother had saved when Claudia was in the fourth grade. By publishing her stories, the author encourages all children to be creative. The author thanks her mother Mabel Stebic Vidas, for saving these three precious gifts so she could share them with others.
