About the Book

Cybil implements a change to her life from the grips of poverty and the welfare system by taking advantage of the offered education opportunity. As she hovers over the abyss between education and employment a series of traumatic events redefines her future. The relationships that were developed while she was 'a single parent on welfare' have had a new light shone onto them. Cybil can see that her friends can't understand her anymore. As she watches the relationships with her female friends dissolve she is made aware that two of her male friends have both individually decided to evolve their platonic relationship with Cybil. Eugene is willing to change who he is so that he can settle down with Cybil. Julian has observed the will and tenacity Cybil employed to change her potential and offers to support her achievment of her goal.

About the Author

Ms. Brendel has lived paranormal experiences since she was a child. She has spent her life between the two worlds of social consciousness and super consciousness, never really fitting into either one until she was able to stay focussed (on what was important outside of social consciousness), stick to her guns (her ideas and beliefs) and let spirit guide her (allow super consciousness to open the door to another level of awareness). ‘Life has an edge to it; to ignore it, to gloss it over does not make it go away.’ She was dubbed the ‘Master of Grit’ by her peers in the independant film industry and is a horticulturalist by trade. She has returned to her roots in the Pacific Northwest to add a splash of super consciousness to her home town.
