Walking home from school, they were talking about the tenth anniversary of the bombings. Their secret was still theirs; no one knew. Their father had died in Iraq when they were three. He was killed by terrorists that were protecting the person behind the bombing, his name was Bin Laden. The men and boys who were old enough received combat training. They were shipped overseas to fight for their families and the people who were lost some ten years ago on that September morning, sacrificing all for the freedom of America. Over the next couple of years Angela had more dreams but none as vivid as the one of the Twin Towers. It seemed as if she had tucked them safely away; recalling them when need be. There were no more nightmares about the bombings. Angela and Trevor did not let a day go by without checking the status of the war. America had been victimized and someone tried to destroy the United States. It was real; no waking up the next morning to find it was all just a dream. Angela vowed to stop them, how she wasn’t sure of. All she could do is wait. Growing older, the twin’s minds seem to join together, thinking as one. Justice will be served, we will have our dignity. Our freedom had been tested and no matter how long it would take, we would prevail. No one can take our freedom, we will survive and overcome the enemy. It will come down to two children, Angela and Trevor. They will aid the fall of the terrorists and Bin Laden, they will not hesitate. They will send them to hell where they belong. Our freedom will be up held, we will be victorious.

About the Book
They were only three when the Twin Towers were bombed. They were playing in the living room while their mom Kathy was doing housework. Suddenly on the television the world was in chaos. Even though Trevor was only three, he was very intelligent. He watched as did Angela. As the destruction rang out, Trevor stared unable to look away. “Momma,” he cried. “What is happening, is this real?” Angela walked to the television and placed her hands on the screen as the buildings were burning and collapsing to the ground. Angela goes to Trevor and places her arms around him saying “Didn’t I tell you there was going to be a big fire?”
About the Author
My name is Rebecca Orias Kilgore Tibbs. I am 62 years old. I love to read and I never dreamed that I would be writing a book. After 9/11, 2001, I often thought of the heartache and devastation that all Americans had to deal with. Most of all, for the people of New York. So, I thought if I could put my thoughts on paper, then maybe I could understand some of what is happening to America, and just maybe I could help in some small way. I hate terrorism with all my heart and I wrote this book with an ending that I think will be received with surprise. I didn’t plan what I was going to write about. I just started to write and I wrote from my heart. I live in Pikeville Ky. I have been disabled for a number of years now and unable to work. I have a daughter Mary and a son Jonathan. I have a son Kermit that died when he was 20 years old. I have one granddaughter Katie and she is the light of my world. She also is teaching me how to master the computer, (or at least trying to). I live with my daughter Mary.
