The planet of Zog is a wonderful place, it exists way past Pluto in deep outer space. Its skies are all orange, its mountains maroon, its water is yellow, and its earth is all blue. There are plumes of great feathers, that reach ten feet high, instead of green trees that grow towards the sky, and they are coloured so bright, in pink, purple, and yellow, and their taste, a delight! Better than ice cream or jello. There are chocolate chip mountains, and potato chip leaves, cotton candy clouds, and pebbles of jelly beans. Bushes of licorice, where hot pies grow, even oceans of ice cream, with whipping cream foam. In this wonderful place there live quite different races, Clartions there are, with cute yellow faces. Mormions and Zupers, Plergies and Rhodes, fuzzy green fellows, with huge purple toes. Some have orange wings, and stand twenty feet tall, and some have giant ears, but are actually small. They have heads on their tails, and feet on their backs, and where there's usually eyes, there are teeth there in fact. Out of these Zogions one boy did stand out, a little blue Sploo, whose name was McLout....

About the Author
Eve Flager’s desire to create meaningful, creative, and inspiring stories for children began when she was just a kid herself. She grew up on a small island on the coast of British Columbia, Canada, where she began writing stories in her spare time at 9 years old. Her stories are reflections of the natural beauty and supportive community she was raised in.
