About the Book
Every year, winter’s first snow turns the world beyond Grandmother’s window into a magical winter wonderland. As Grandmother fills the bird feeders with fresh seeds for the visitors, the feeders wake and come alive. Eager to see all their friends again after the long summer, Sally Seed and Freddy Feeder call out to their friends to come and enjoy the feast that Grandmother has prepared for them.
But one after one, each visiting bird refuses to come to the meal. Sally and Freddy are confused. Why won’t their friends come and eat with them?
As Freddy and Sally wonder why their friends stay so far away, they see the villain keeping all their feathered friends away. Oh no! How will the birds get to the seed with this intruder in the way? Won’t anyone come to their rescue and save the day?
