In the first story entitled: "Malaika", the main character, Greg, has lost everything because he is a young child in the Gold Coast (Ghana) when his middle-aged parents die in an unfortunate car accident in the Gold Coast (Ghana). This leaves Greg's life prospects largely at the whim of his older relatives, who control the purse strings to Greg's inheritance from his parents. However, they disinherit him. His Auntie Ethel, a Kenyan Black-African Lady living in England in the UK, largely saves his life and gives him the opportunity to do something with his life by paying for Greg's voyage to London to stay with her and then paying for his schooling at an English Public School. In the second story entitled: "Stranger than Fiction", the details are given of a young Black African Lawyer of Ghanaian Descent - George, who feels compelled to return to Ghana because his employment prospects in the Legal Profession are so bleak in England despite the fact that he has good legal and other educational qualifications to his name. However, by returning to Ghana, he finds love and much else besides.

About the Book
This book contains Short Stories about people who have been weakened by life circumstance not caused by their fault, who have gone on to use that disadvantage to inspire them to triumph over adversity. Often the main character in the book has been an ethnic minority who has been able to use his coping mechanisms for the unfair challenges that life has thrown at him as a strategy to motivate himself to successfully secure paid work in a profession that he wants. Also along this unlikely life journey, the main character finds unconditional love, which is completely unexpected.
About the Author
Mr Kwabena Date-Bah is a British lawyer, originally from Ghana in West Africa. He was educated at Berkhamsted Public School; University College, London; Keele University; and Cass Business School in City University in London. He has worked in real estate for a number of years.
