Henny the chicken is sad. She wants a chick in the worst way—there is just one problem—she does not have any eggs. But with help from all her barnyard friends, Henny is about to learn that there are lots of other eggs around the farm that need to be cared for by someone special, just like her! Henny and Her Family shares a whimsical story of adoption through a chicken’s eyes that teaches children that unconditional love is all that is needed to be a parent.
About the Author
Cindy Miller lives on a small farm inside of Canterbury, Connecticut, with her three children. She enjoys baking, gardening, painting, and being a mom. This is her first book.
