Accused But Not Forgotten
I may not have the money,
That I need for many things.
But I have Jesus,
And he will always pay the way.
All I have to do is just ask him,
He's always there.
He listens to our Prayers.
He has already paid the price,
The day he hung upon that cross.
There are no needs are wants,
I can not ask of him.
He ask no questions of me,
For he knows the pain and sorrow
We are going through.
He is always just one stop ahead
For he's already paid the price.
Sometimes we are accused,
Of things we did not do.
We think no one else could understand,
What we are going through.
But we forget sometimes,
With all our problems
How Jesus was accused
Of things he did not do .
If there was anyone,
Anywhere.
That could understand
It would be Jesus Christ,
My Lord and Savior.
He has already been there,
He has already paid the price.
Because when he hung upon that cross,
He was falsely accused of things he did not do.
So keep on praying,
He will keep on paying
The price for you and me.
He was Accused,
But not Forgotten.

About the Book
Through my hurts, my pain, and my sorrows, Jesus has been here with me, holding my hand. He gave me a sparkle of hope. It kept me going and still does. I know my heavenly Father knows where I am. He is my everything. One day as I was driving my city bus downtown Atlanta, I heard the Lord say three times, write a book. My English teacher said I couldn't put two words together. But my heavenly Father said write a book. So the words started to come, so I wrote. In 2005, my dad passed away. Then in 2006, my husband passed away. I didn't write for three years. My first poem I wrote after three years was, “Hey, Jesus do you know I moved!” It felt good to write again. Jesus said, “Martha, it's time to write.” It was good to hear my Father's voice again. Thank you, Jesus, for trusting me with your words, the words that touch my heart. I pray that my book will touch your heart as it does mine. And I hope this book brings you A Sparkle of Hope.
"The Lord's love never ends; his mercies never stop They are new every morning; Lord, your loyalty is great. I say to myself, The Lord is mine, so I hope in Him. The Lord is good to those who hope in him, to those who seek him.” (Lamentations 3:21–25)
About the Author
Martha Durham has loved the Lord all her life. She is blessed to hear his voice. She feels like he has raised her from a child he has always been there for her through the good times and bad. He is her everything. He is her sparkle of hope every day.
