About the Author

Calogero Campo (aka Charles Campo) Born in Sicily in 1938. As a child, Charles worked in the sulfur mines of Sicily (as Caruso). Later, he emigrated to Belgium where he learned to speak French. Charles worked in an airplane bomb factory and a couple of years in the coal mines of Liege, Belgium. While still a young man, he emigrated to the United States and worked as a printer for many years. Charles ran for political offices in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Now, at the age of 75, he is retired; he makes his own wine and enjoys life.
