Naturally there are four seasons in a year, and each season passes to accommodate the time and cycle. Our lives are spiritually the same, so it is important to be in tune with the seasons. We have to get to a place of clarity in knowing where we are within the seasons and where we are headed. Just as the seasons come every year, there should be constant progression and velocity in lifestyle and personal growth. How can one transition if they are never moving? In order to go through our seasons, we have to identify that there is victory at the end when the Word of God is applied.
There are four distinct seasons within a year. The number four spiritually means to transition, shift, and align into divine position and place. According to Merriam Webster’s dictionary; transition means to: pass from one state, stage, subject, or place to another. As we evaluate closely, we can see that seasons change and shift from one stage to another. Therefore we must be parallel to the seasons by interchangeably shifting and changing.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33 NKJV
Often times we want things to change in and for our lives, but we fail to seek the one who can align things correctly. But first; let us point out that there is opposition within, and it has to be unveiled. True change can only aspire when it is accepted and received through the Life Changer. God cannot help us until we acknowledge we need Him. The seasons of our lives need divine assistance when encountering them. “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit’, Says the Lord of hosts.” (Zechariah 4:6 NKJV) Conflict is an indication that there is a problem and exposure is the key. How do we expose the problem? Well follow these steps below:
1. Ask the Lord to search you all over
2. Wait on Him to show you the problem
3. You evaluate what He has shown you
4. Then you confront the situation at hand
“Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties” Psalms 139:23 NKJV
“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me” Psalms 51:10 NKJV
Confrontation is not only the realization that God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is the solution. But that individually one is ready to take ownership by taking action towards change. A solution cannot come until we see that we are in connection to the problem. When ownership comes, then a spiritual awakening comes. We now began to face our worse enemy (ourselves), by saying:
• I don’t like what I am seeing, a change has to come.
• I don’t want to go down that same road anymore; I want to get on the right path.
• I don’t want to hang out there no more; I got to place myself in the right surroundings.
• I got to separate from certain people, I need positive spiritual relationships.
• I have got to stop thinking so negative; I need to build my spirit, soul, and body on the Word of God.
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2 NKJV
There cannot be a full transition until we have noticed who we are not:
We are not of this world
We are not failures
We are not defeated
We are not poor
We are not invaluable
The mind has to be transformed by the Word of God to see and prove that:
We are liberators
We are conquerors
We are revelators
We are achievers
“Maybe things are the way they are, because you are the way you are.” Cindy Trimm
As children of God, we must follow change in order to become a catalyst for change. “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” (John 8:12 NKJV) A shift can only take place when one recognizes that they want more for their life, and are ready to move from their past. But our lives have to transition according the seasons in order to produce who we are in God.
The Lord spoke to me in time of meditation and said, “It is time that my people know the seasons.” There are Spirit-led strategic steps to travel within the seasons that will be forever present as we transition to be great men and women of God. This book is written to strengthen and encourage the believers of Christ; who feel withdrawn, defeated, tired, and backslidden from the abundant life they are called to live in Christ Jesus. For it is good to be saved which indeed is your passport to eternity with the Lord. But living victorious while saved gives us rights and benefits to the Kingdom of Heaven while on Earth. Every year we should be progressing by:
1) Transforming ourselves through Submission
2) Maturing through Spiritual Directives
3) Elevating through persistent hunger and thirst for the Word
4) Prospering as we identify ourselves operating as a Child of God
These seasons are to help us personally evolve; not as a church member, but as a Kingdom Ambassador of Heaven.
