About the Book

For abused sisters Joy and Anna, growing up under their teenage mother’s wing in the Great North has not been easy. Always dreaming of becoming more than what god intended, the girls try to break free from their small town and small life living seeking out solutions to childhood problems on the interstate. The road ahead leads the girls down winding roads of misery. Finding love and happiness is nothing what they thought it would be when the man all leave in the same manner.

About the Author

Tina Marie Johnson AKA Maria Truth was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Artistically inclined, she was introduced to the arts by her parents learning how to sketch and paint as a child. Eager to expand herself as a teenager, she began to write short stories based on her personal experiences and social problems. Creating fictions about urban life, she found her light bulb in college obtaining several degrees in Sociology and Social Work assisting individuals with problems and concerns much like her own. Culturally diverse, her style of writing is relatable and inspiring to readers who have general problems with family, life, love and relationships.
