About the Book

Do you wake up at 3 a.m. and your mind goes round and round? Do you struggle to know God? 3 am: Journey to God through Poetry is the story of one man's personal quest for a relationship with God. Lee Viersen spent countless nights wracked by doubt and worry and chose to express that struggle in his writing. Through his struggle came strength in both God and art. We hope that in reading his poems and learning about his journey to faith, you too will find comfort, joy, and the answers to the questions that keep you awake at night.

About the Author

Becky and Lee Viersen were married for thirty-five years. They met in college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Lee was a psychology major, and Becky was an education major. They lived in Cary, North Carolina, with their son, Paul, and attended First United Methodist Church in Cary. Becky and Paul still live there.
