About the Author
I've been writing since I learned how in childhood. I loved my English classes and any class that required essays. Granted, in school I liked writing more story based pieces over having to write technical essays. My favorite class growing up was Creative Writing. I adored that class and really respected my teacher, Mr. Heaton, very much. He was very supportive of my writing and taught me a lot. When getting out into the working world my dream of becoming an author got put on hold due to the fact that it seemed impossible to hold down a steady pay check, take care of my children and write. However, due to the fact that my ideas for stories never left me and haunted me day and night my dream to become a writer refused to be given up on. So here I am, happily writing my heart out. What is even more a push in the 'write' direction is that my children really believe in me, which gives me an added boost of self confidence that I hadn't had before. Through becoming a mother, I've developed a whole new way of looking at life and the situations therein which lends itself into my writing style. I've been able to develope more as a writer due to the struggles that I've had to go through in my own life; from being a mother to being diagnosed with Bi Polar. I like to bring the emotions that I've experianced into my writing as well as some of the things I feel are important, especially the need to press on and survive even though odds may be against you. There is always hope.
