About the Book

Words of an Angel is a book of collected poems that Lintiya has written over the past few years. She believes that her poetry and other writings are very inspirational and hopes to inspire and deliver ones from any problems or situations they may have or can relate to. Such as love, guilt, faith, joy, testimonies, doubts, and even success. Lintiya also believes that readers of all ages will adore the works that are placed in this book. They will anticipate on more works from Lintiya which are soon to come.

About the Author

After being inspired and influenced by love ones and music, Lintiya McCleary had the sensation to influence others too. Growing up in Columbia, SC, Lintiya was accustomed to the southern hospitality. While moving to South Florida changed her whole mentality of life. Lintiya experienced many different friendships that influenced her life style and which some negative influences turned her life upside down. To relieve herself from reality, she would listen to her favorite songs from genres like R&B, Hip-hop, Pop, Gospel, Rap, and more. Intrigued by the form of art, Lintiya started to write poetry and songs of her on at the age of 15. Feeling inspired by her own works, she started writing short stories from her own life experiences and others around her. After joining a protestant church, age 17, she meets a loving church family who she befriended. They influenced her even more to write inspirational poems. She would have needed something to occupy her time while she was in Basic Combat Training for the Army. She shared some of her work with her fellow soldiers. They were truly inspired by her art and they felled in love with her words. At that time Lintiya knew she had to share her words with the world. Her desire is to influence others like she was. Lintiya starts off her writing as being similar to herself; Lovely, Divine, and Marvelous. Her love for poetry is greater than most, as well as her love for helping others is mutual.
