Many, many years ago, in the Biblical land of Bethlehem, this story took place. The story is so special and unique; it has been handed down from generation to generation to this very day, but some of the story has been kept quiet; the story proves a point that if you are faithful and try hard to do the right thing, then G-d will reward you. One must have faith in G-d and in himself in order to succeed. This story is about a Shepard boy who was rebuked by his seven brothers. He was sent into the pastures where it was dangerous for a shepherd and his herd to be, because lions and bears were known to live there.

Reading his Psalms is so inspiring to us all---most likely because the Psalms are expressions of his inner-most thoughts. It is particularly enlightening to know that he was able to overcome childhood antagonism and bullying by delving deep into his own thoughts, and maintaining his faith in the Lord, and by reading the Bible. G-d was so impressed with his caring for animals that G-d chose David to be the second King of Israel. It was possible for a shepherd boy to gain the trust of G-d and his people and become a king. Part II: The Sheep Alphabet – synopsis This exceptional alphabet book teaches us the names of the many, many sheep in the world and in our own country. It is most fascinating to realize that sheep come in different shapes and colors from all over the world. It is memorable to realize that sheep came in different sizes and shapes back in the days when King David was a shepherd.

Cheryl is a published author of 4 books and The Shepherd Boy is her fifth book. She is active in literacy issues and as a tutor besides writing. She spends time with her family and gardening in the interim. The author is dedicated to writing stories that will bring to life the war time horrors that people lived through. She takes their stories way beyond the war time and shows you how they have made a sizeable contribution to their families, to their countries, and to their communities. It is through her telling of her husband's story that he becomes alive again to the readers in our hearts, minds, and in our souls. The author has helped to do her part in immortalizing a wonderful person. This is what society needs today: a good example to follow.
