Bubba was a big black lab. Most big dogs stand tall and proud. Oh, but not Bubba. Bubba thought he was teeny weeny - really teeny weeny. He thought he was so teeny that everything scared him. He got especially scared when he and his family moved out into the country. Their house was surrounded by the forest. Bubba had never been in the forest before. It looked like a dark and scary place. This made him put his tail between his legs and shake with fright.

About the Book
Even though Bubba is a big and strong dog, he is scared of everything. When he has to move out into the country he is scared of the change. His best friend, Will, encourages him that it is okay to be scared. Will also pushes Bubba to enter the forest to show him that there is nothing to be afraid of.
About the Author
Sarah graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in creative writing. After her and her husband's black lab, Bubba, passed in 2012 she became inspired by his unique ways. Especially how he was sacred of everything. She wanted to share his fright in a children's book to show children that it is okay to be scared. She is truly grateful for her family who encouraged her to write this book.
