“I have never seen bonnets like yours before,” said Little Church Mouse. “That’s because ours are special. I bought them for the holiday. It’s the best way to show everyone we know exactly what Easter Sunday is all about,” she told him. Then she and her three little daughter ducks started to walk away. “That’s strange,” thought Little Church Mouse. “I don’t remember bonnets having anything to do with Easter Sunday and the resurrection story of Jesus.” Then he went back to playing in the church yard.

About the Author
Steven Bushnell is the director of the Bible Chef evangelical Christian ministry. His writing and work with Bible Chef is a commitment to fulfill the Great Commission. He is also the author of Christian Family Finance, Christian Family Marriage and the Tribulation Chronicles. He lives in Camarillo, California with his wife Kristen and has two grown children Emily and William. About the Illustrator Steve Mutz has been drawing most of his life. He attended Cal state Fullerton where he studied graphic design illustration. He considers Chris Martinez of Disney his biggest inspiration and mentor. Steve was concept artist for the International Magic Factory in 1998. He lives in Camarillo, California.
