Face to Face
To think, someday, because of Your grace
I can stand in front of You, face to face
Though not worthy at all on my own
Only through Jesus can I kneel at Your throne
What will You see when You look at me?
How thankful I am for Your great mercy!
Did I help the sick, clothe the poor,
Feed the hungry? I could have done more!
Did I visit the lonely, comfort the bereaved?
I could never be truly worthy of the forgiveness I’ve received!
Did I open Your Word and read it every day?
Did I take every opportunity I had to pray?
I deserve no credit, for my debt I couldn’t pay
I just praise God for Jesus and His resurrection day!
So I will trust in my Lord, take one day at a time
His grace is sufficient as each step I climb
I know that when I die, I will go to heaven above
Because of my God and His unconditional love
I will be worthy, covered by the blood of the Lamb
And I will stand face to face just as I am.

Freedom’s Heroes
God has blessed America through honorable men
Who fought against their foes
Standing courageous and battling with pride ---
They are “Freedom’s Heroes”
Our Founding Fathers fought for the cause
United as one and bonded by justice and laws
America has been blessed through men with vision and hope
Facing the future with a strategy and the ability to cope
Our vigilant leaders and soldiers have overcome terror and fear
They have enabled our country to persevere
They are the strong and they are the brave
Conquering our enemies---our freedom to save
America has been blessed through men who have sacrificed it all
Laying down their lives so that we may stand tall
They have struggled endlessly and many lives have been lost
But every worthy endeavor usually comes with a great cost
Our nation is wealthy--- our armed forces, “united they stand”
They serve with honor and integrity to defend this land
God has blessed America in times of peace and war
Reminding us of His presence and what we are living for
Our stars and stripes shine as our flag steadily waves
For our defense is our God and the souls that He saves
As we fight the forces of evil, like the terrorists’ attacks on our land
God is still with us, but we must reach for His hand
God has blessed America through men who love the Lord
When whatever the mission, they have climbed aboard
The Cross of Calvary is their banner as it leads the way
For they know in the end, they’ll meet their Savior someday
America is blessed and her love and faith---it shows!
Praise God for His Son---The King of Freedom’s Heroes!!
To Love
To love is to embrace yourself for who you really are
Overcoming your weaknesses while reaching far
To love is to always do your best
Striving and enduring every test
To love is to believe in your ability
To achieve satisfaction and to know tranquility
To love is to find joy in giving instead of receiving
Making sacrifices, always believing
To love is not to look on the outside
But to search the heart where true treasures abide
To love is to be compassionate and kind
Expressing gentleness and peace of mind
To love is to have the strength to forgive and let go
Shedding all pride that unity may flow
To love is to show genuine respect
Honoring responsibility without neglect
To love is to always be there
Showing just how much you care
To love is sometimes to shed a tear
Enduring sadness, conquering fear
To love is to dream and to hope
Being understanding and willing to cope
To love is to learn, to grow, to act
Knowing your actions bear great impact
To love is to be faithful and worthy of trust
For such sincerity destroys lust
To love is to give the greatest gift of all
For it bridges the gap, breaks down the wall
To love is to always go that extra mile
To finish your course with a grateful smile
To love is to reach out for all that tomorrow may hold
Grasping with your spirit and seeking with your soul
To love is to discover who God truly is
To bask in His glory and to know that you are His!
To love is to realize your very life is a gift from God above
Sending His only Son, you were shown how to love!!
