Arachnida, mammals, insects, fish, crustaceans, birds, reptiles, amphibians, plants, flowers, trees, and the microscopic literally are life’s hosts. Humans are quick to tout their dominating position in a grand pyramid scheme they alone designed and continue to manipulate. This book implores everyone to take this self-appointed stewardship of earth with more understanding, empathy, and humility. Go outside. The lives you encounter will assume a defensive posture. The last thing any creature needs is another threat to its survival. People need to stop kowtowing to screens and start paying attention to real-life scenes.

About the Author

Thank you, Paul! said the Little Spider is Paul Kay, Jr.’s third book. Paul and wife Linda were blessed with twin sons in 1999. Paul was born in Memphis in 1958. Moving to Tacoma in 1965, his family’s moving van burned, and with it all their furniture and toys. It was time to fill the material void with imagination and make believe. In addition to teaching and writing short stories, Paul loves dogs and cats, family travel, golf, gardening, astronomy, and Beatles music.
