Zach's school day came to an end. he was still thinking about getting home to his puppy. "God, the best thing in my life is my dog, Gypsy. I can hardly wait to get home to her." After this really hard day at school, Zach walked fast and even ran a bit as he got closer to home. He couldn't wait to see Gypsy. As he turned the corner into the driveway of his house, he saw the backyard gate open. He ran as fast as his legs would carry him and started calling, "Here, Gypsy. Here Gypsy." When Zach ran into the backyard, he didn't see Gypsy. He looked under the bushes and flowers, in corners, and in her dog house. She was gone. His heart pounded. He cried, "Gypsy. Gypsy"

About the Book
This is a true story about a boy struggling in school with a learning disability. He makes it through his school days thinking about his dog, Gypsy. She was always there for him. One day after school, he races home to discover the gate open and Gypsy is gone. He is so upset that he can’t think straight causing him to make some bad choices. The search takes many twists and turns. It has a very happy ending! The conclusion is very clear: God finds the lost even a young boy who feels alone.
About the Author
Judy Ginter, the author and Mom in this book, loves to teach children of God’s love through Bible lessons. She has two children (Zach and Lisa) and two grandchildren who love Grandma Camp and reading with her.
Jody Eklund, the illustrator, is passionate about telling stories with illustrations. He lives in the great state of Colorado with his amazing wife and two kids and enjoys the wonderful world of freelancing as an illustrator and graphic artist.
