Bouncy woke up with a cheerful mood. She hopped out of bed, took out her favorite pink bow, and headed for the kitchen for breakfast. Bouncy finished her breakfast and her mother came over to take her plate and asked “Are you ready for your first day of school, Bouncy?”. And all Bouncy said was “Um… School?...” . Bouncy carried the backpack her mother gave her and went to the bus stop. Then, a big, long, yellow care pulled over. “This must be the bus.”, Bouncy thought. She saw a nice man smile at her and she hopped into the bus, and took the 1st seat. “There are so many kids here. I wonder if they’re nice…”, thought Bouncy. The bus became fuller at every stop, and they finally arrived at school.

About the Book
It’s Bouncy’s first day of kindergarten—but Bouncy isn't excited at all. She’s really nervous. There will be so many new things at school—and so many other children.
Bouncy takes her new backpack and gets on the bus to go to school. As the bus gets closer and closer to GrassyHill Elementary School, more and more children climb aboard.
When Bouncy reaches the doors of Grassy Hill Elementary, she meets Skulla, a mean school bully. Skulla yells at Bouncy and ruins her day. How will Bouncy ever learn to love school if there’s a bully being mean to her?
With the advice of her mother and the help of her new friends, Bouncy may be able to find a way to stop getting bullied.
