When I was a baby, as cute as could be, my mom and dad changed everything for me. It wasn’t my fault, they made sure to tell me that, but apart they must live and that was a fact.So my mom and my dad got two separate home, but though they were separate, I was never alone. I wasn't very happy; In fact I was really really mad! I live with my mom and sometimes visit my dad.

My Special Family is a great book for families and educators to help children understand how the basic structure of the family unit has changed significantly over the years. The book help children to view their unique family differences in a positive light as oppose to a family unit that is broken. Children will be able to accept their individual living situation as well as developing respect for the diversity of the family dynamics of other children.
About the Author
Tamara Clarke is a Elementary school teacher who prides herself on constantly providing children with the tools necessary to promote academic and social success. She hopes that this book will help children embark on the amazing journey of creating a life long love of reading. She believes that with such an increase in the change of family unit today and what is now the norm, that most children will be able to connect with the book. She is the proud mother of two boys and is happily married to Harold Clarke. They reside in Bronx, NY.
