About the Author

Carter Johnson was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. He attended summer film-making programs at the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and screen-writing seminars in Los Angeles, California and Santa Fe, New Mexico. While his background is in film, he decided to try something more challenging, and this novel is the result. He currently resides in Charlotte with his wife Ellen and their cat Leo.
