About the Book
Little Caleb Joe was born fighting to survive. He was a premature baby, and he had to spend weeks in the hospital before the doctors thought it was safe for him to go home. He has grown up healthy and strong, and his mother likes to tell him why: because of God’s spirit inside of Caleb and RTL ATAP!
RTL stands for “refuse to lose.” As a baby, Caleb would not give up, and he has continued to fight ever since. ATAP reminds Caleb that with God “all things are possible.” These letters represent Caleb’s fighting spirit, and the spirit of all Christians who welcome God into their hearts and strive to live by His Word.
Caleb’s mother explains that tough times will come, but in those tough times, Caleb must remember RTL and ATAP. Nothing is too difficult with God’s help. Life is filled with choices, and Caleb must remember to lean on God’s strength and on those seven little words: “refuse to lose” and “all things are possible!”
