About the Author

Recollections of the life of Martha Frances Hefner Mulinix. This book was written as an assignment from her family doctor, when she asked why his reply was you have had an interesting life. A child of the depression who left home at age thirteen to work and pay her own way through high school and then college. She completed two advanced college degrees, taught elementary , high school as well as a guidance counselor for the school system. When her teaching career was cut short she taught quilting traveled to craft shows promoted quilting shows. Travel in the family motor home over a major portion of the united states. She also married her high school sweetheart and spent the rest of her life with him raising her two sons and sharing her wisdom with her four grand sons. This book was written when she was ninety years old and had been blind for over six years.
