About the Author

The author’s first book, The Best Is Yet to Come, a mind and body motivational book was published in 2011. Her second book, Growing Up in the Nation’s Capital: We Made It, But It Took an Entire Village, was published in March, 2013. An avid lover of the fine arts, she enjoys storytelling and participating in speech and writing contests. She is following her grandmother’s footsteps and fulfilling her dreams writing, reciting and interpreting poetry.
