My soul, my spirit Cries Set me free Love … love … love … me. Betrayal of love I once knew all seemed lost, No room for marriage, love, vows or us, Just pain, pain, misery and pain, hurt and wounded. My soul, My spirit Cries This is not me how could I hurt, hurt thee. Betrayal of love, what shall I do? Are we sinking into hell? What shall we do …? My soul, My spirit Cried I have really lost thee ……. Betrayal of love, no place to be … To hide … To run Cry soul … cry spirit … Set, set, set me free … Take the pain, I want joy … Wash away the darkness, set me in the light. Cleanse me, cleanse me, set me free. Betrayal of love, what shall I do ?

God said…“This is your day son, If you just believe” I cried, “How Lord, how…” Embraced An invisible romance, a feeling for not just a word, a love that I hold to myself… Betrayal of Love Betrayal of love, so heavy so deep, my heart is crushing beneath my feet… Unforgotten Pains Unforgotten pains thoughts from yesteryear a love grimace backwards, ascend an emotional mountain as cynical as the lowest valley… Rarely Pure Rarely pure is our weakness. Often we are sullied and so full of guilt, blemishes fall from our affected heart.
About the Author
Mario Alonzo Charity Sr. was born in Richmond, Virginia. He currently resides in Dallas, Texas which was a long time coming. Mario was first introduced to poetry in high school when it was realized that this was a gift from God. He has been writing ever since. Mario has travelled to many parts of the country, inspiring many poems. Others were inspired by the ups and downs, the highs and lows experienced in his life both on a personal level as well as experiences of those close to him. Writing many times just as a stress reliever or to bless others, it is finally time to share this great gift with the world.
