Fork In The Road I think and dream quite often I ponder, Without one blink from a soul so somber. Without a word spoken, whispered or uttered, emotion so deep, he shivers and shutters. Passionate, charismatic and yet lives so tragic. Ugly and evil with a life so traumatic, for pain and death paradise he won't enter, at that fork in the road his spirit now stands splintered. Sin was his mentor but he now begs for forgiveness. In the midst of time and space the present stands still and his past is erased. Only time will tell if his future will take place. By Marnell Jones

About the Book
The Dark Room Chronicles: A Collection of Poetry is a book which came about through his harsh experiences in prison. The reader can expect inspirational, motivational, and relatable imagery through the form of word. My poetry also deals with life struggles, self-consciousness, hope, faith, and determination. I chose the title of the book because a dark room can be a very lonely place and in the dark many images are formed.
About the Author
He is 30 years old, a resident from Newark, NJ as well as a man who spent 10 long years in prison. He's a avid writer and reader and has been writing poetry, novels, as well as song lyrics since he was a kid. His treacherous prison experience helped to shape the majority of his "dark" poetry. Many readers will be able to relate to the imagery of his poetry.
