Murder was the Case

Whitney was having fun dancing barefoot and forgot her fear of public dancing. Her parents were dancing by her side and she shared a joyous moment with them. Whitney was on a high but suddenly a blood curdling scream brought her back down. Everyone in the room went into panic mode. The scream had come from Aunt Patricia, and then she cried out “OH MY GOD!!! SOMEONE HELP QUICK!!! HE’S DEAD!!! OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!!! Whitney’s became scared and looked around aimlessly. “Oh my God! That was Pat!” Whitney’s mother said frantically. Whitney’s dad had grabbed his wife “She’s upstairs, we gotta check it out!” Someone was dead! But who? Whitney felt a sinking feeling in her stomach, no it can’t be! The party guests have begun to run up the stairs. Before Whitney could follow her parents up the stairs her dad turned to her “Stay here.” He ordered. Whitney stood rooted to the floor watching her parents go up the stairs. Her eyes narrowed. She was not staying here! Aunt Pat needed help and she needed to be there for her! Whitney began climbing up the stairs and she heard multiple people screaming in horror and shock. Whitney felt her heart start to beat faster and faster as she got closer to the source of why Aunt Pat had screamed. Whitney made it up the stairs and she saw that the party guests were surrounding the balcony gasping in horror. She couldn’t see Aunt Pat but she could still hear her wailing in anguish. Whitney had a foreboding feeling in the pit of her stomach. Whitney pushed her way through the crowd. Her parents were in front both crying and the reason why would be the shock of Whitney’s life. Whitney and everyone else were staring at a hysterical Aunt Patricia wailing over Uncle Terry’s bloody lifeless body sprawled out by the entrance of his own balcony
