Win like Obama is an exploration of the artists power of mimicry an ancient art of the early alchemists it’s the authors journey through the phenomenal world of events, its an exploration of the poets and her wizardly crafts at the marketplace drawing inspiration from the up and down turns of the seasonal ebbs, as contrasted with her exaggerated fantasy expectation , drawing inspirations from his various personas, all his ephemeral wishes and desires, all imaginary powers and illusions . it is a memoir of a writer about her awakening to the creative spirit. it is an exploration into the world of the unconscious, her many selves, challenges, attitudes and idiosyncrasies. It is also the telling of the story of his attitude and others towards his craft. It is an attempt to explore the mysterious processes of conception and birth which the writer like a woman has been called to fulfill.
About the Author
Win like Obama is Obinna Aguh’s first collection of Schematic Poetry. And his third published work, his first book, Nigeria; awaken Unlimited Potentials was published in 2009. And Inventing a new Nation 2010. A product of the creative writers club at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria were as the President of National association of Political Science students, NAPSS 2003/4 Session, he face the school disciplinary panel (board) after leading the Students on a Peaceful Protest and insisting that the school authorities must construct a pedestrian bridge at the school main gate to stop incessant killing of students by reckless motorist. Obinna holds a Bachelor of Science BSc. degree in Political Science from the University. He also hold a diploma certificate in Library and Information Science from Institute of Education ABU Zaria. Obinna is a member of the Abuja Literary Society (ALS), A member of the Association of Nigerian Authors ( ANA) A member of the Amichi Youth Social Club of Nigeria where he served as Publicity Secretary Abuja Branch. He has worked as the Editor-in-Chief and CEO. of Poetic Channels Publishers for about a decade where he had published books like Ladder to Academic Excellence. Obinna had done an extensive research on Karl G Jung and his analytical psychology and come to experience the reality of the psyche where he drew many archetypal experiences from. Obinna has also won a grant from the prestigious Youth Enterprise With Innovation in Nigeria YOUWIN Award 2012. He is married to Ojonugwa Ambrose and blessed with three children Chiamaka, Uzoamaka, and ChukwuEbuka. Obinna and his lovely family now live in Lagos.
