About the Book

This story is about a man going on a fishing holiday to Scotland who meets a stranger on a train journey. The stranger tells him about an event that happened a long time ago. The story would stay with him for the rest of his life, but it has meaning for our day, as struggles between good and evil continue and will for some time, but good will always win in the end, the struggle will continue. The end could be a while in coming.

About the Author

Paul Brackenfield is married with children, who loves history. But history has hidden gaps, which only imagination can fill. Because we were not there at these great events only imagination will give us a flavour, and this is where fiction has to step in. The Creator of all things has it recorded in His Book, and He is the only one who knows what really happened. But I hope it gives as best we can the flavour of these events.
