Contemplating Mind November 21, 2012 I’ve been trying, to delve deep into myself to find- Answers to the questions that are eating my mind. Who am I? What do I want to do? Never mind why, never mind what I must do too. How will I better myself, each and every day? How will I choose better, what I do – what and when I say. Any word, any phrase- any thought must first be filtered. Every action, every step- every reaction altered. Where do I start, with this remodelling of my being? How do I stay on track, when the finish I’m not seeing? It’s one thing to say something, and another to follow through- Make a wish, and it won’t always become true- it’s up to you. I need a plan- one I can make, criticize and follow. I need results today, but it’s going to be quite a few of “maybe tomorrow”. Each and every day, I must stick with it- keep going strong. Until it becomes second nature, until I reach where/what I’ve wanted for so long. I will become someone whom I can be proud of- I will be one in a million. But when it comes to my love, my poems- I can speak for over a billion.

About the Book
This book is a semi-compilation of me; mind, heart and soul- neither complete nor (entirely) chronological. There are plenty more that can be made into another book- these are merely some of my favourites (so far). I am still writing- I will keep writing for as long as I live. You may or may not notice that there are some poems within this book that have been published and/or copyrighted on www.poetry.com and www.allpoetry.com. My name is not an alias- you can search my name on either of these sites and see everything I have listed.
About the Author
I started writing when I was young- over a decade ago. Originally, writing was meant to be an outlet for my aggravation, anger, frustration, joy and sorrow. Many of my first pieces are included in this book so you can see how my ability to put my feelings/thoughts into words improved as time passed. The years I have encompassed are from 2001 to 2013. As I had the experiences that were necessary in my life that inspired me to write (which was quite often), my outlet became my passion. Now, I only need an idea, not so much to experience such given idea- in order to write a great poem as though I had in fact lived it. No matter what the piece is about or who it may be for, my heart and soul are put into it- not just my brain. A few of my poems don’t have a title; some when typing I could not remember the date I had written it, but then not all great works are named nor dated. Providing the literature and author are remembered, you as the readers are then able to put a date and title to it as it touches your lives. I have compiled this book to share what I feel are the best pieces of my work, my life-quite a few from the first few years. This is not only to give insight to my growing passion (and ability) for writing but also because those were most likely some of my more productive years.
