Fun with Words: 1) A space donkey is an ASStronauts. 2) A bad dictionary is a fictionary. III. Chuckles from Everywhere: 1) He was born in Borneo and died in Death Valley. He acquired a stutter in Bora Bora; it deteriorated in Walla Walla. 2) Public service ad: "If you see a comet about to hit Earth, dial 9-1-1". IV. Ethnic: 1) When Napoleon was in Egypt, he had a Jewish girlfriend named Rosetta Stone. 2) Disputes amongst Arab countries could be resolved through Arabitration. V. Tongue Twisters: 1) Impatient insulin patient was insolent. 2) Bored prisoner did the cancan in Sing Sing. VI. Belief: 1) Sinners play Badminton. Believers play Goodminton. 2) In the Islamic paradise, a houri is not a whore. VII. Bedroom Humor: 1) Whipping, in S&M, is not what it's cracked up to be. 2) Desert mirage of 3 persons having sex, is a mirage-a-trois.

About the Book
LOTSA LAUGHS is a book of jokes and hilarious observations, which Ben Sheldon had recorded in his note books, over several years. It’s a very funny collection of mostly one- or two-liners. Each one of them was original or independently conceived at the time of recording and dating in the author’s note books.
References to real known personalities are not necessarily true, but is done in parody, within protected free speech on satire.
There are seven sections to the book, labeled “Chapters”, in the Index. Each chapter is aimed at the reader who would enjoy predominantly that kind of humor. For instance, one may laugh at the unique observations in politics, but pass on to another friend or family member some funny aspects of different faiths or innocent, lighthearted takeoffs on ethnicity. A prudish reader may want to save the chapter on bedroom humor for an unblushing neighbor. In any case, said bedroom chapter is written in good taste, with no pornography.
The eclectic, broad-minded reader will, of course, enjoy all the levels of humor in this unique joke book, Lotsa Laughs.
For those who love the creative use of words in different unexpected contexts, there is a chapter on Tongue Twisters. Another chapter is about “Fun with Words”.

The Author’s 5th book is this very funny book titled “Lotsa Laughs”. It follows 2 novels (Dragula & Rendezvous In Baghdad) and 2 poetry books (Poetic License & Eclectic Poetry). The prior 4 books are generally serious with humorous aspects interwoven in all of them.
But Lotsa Laughs is a collection of jokes and hilarious observations that the author had noted down over several years.
Ben Sheldon has always seen the lighter side of life, perhaps going back all the way to day one. It is quipped that when the doctor slapped infant Ben, at birth, instead of crying, he laughed.
The author has lived and travelled in Europe, Asia and the US, eventually settling in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he wrote all his books.
