Nurses work tirelessly to ensure the comfort, safety and well-being of every patient who comes into their care. The stories between these covers have been written for veteran nurses, new nurses, those wanting to be nurses, and anyone who is intrigued with the experiences nurses face throughout their careers. These true stories have lessons about God’s love for us and how Christian caring can be a part of the nursing profession. Reading these stories may bring tears, laughter, joy, reflection, affirmation, and motivation. It is hoped that all of the stories will help you contemplate the nursing practice and your relationship with God. Every story includes scriptures and inspirational thoughts that strengthen your journey of seeking and knowing our Savior, Jesus Christ.
About the Author
Bonnie Hunt MSN, RN is professor emeritus at the School of Nursing on the campus of Southern Adventist University. Improving the image of nursing has been her passion. The opportunity to share that passion through writing inspirational stories about nurses has been an interest of hers for several years.
