About the Book

POEMS FOR THE HEART (Love Poems and Passions III) is a book on poetry, exemplifying human experience that the feeling of love respects no boundary of expression in a heart-to-heart intimacy between two souls. Love is love no matter how long or short its sojourn in the life of a person, no matter how deep or shallow its degree, or no matter how extent or narrow the space it occupies in one’s heart. Truly, love is love no matter how it is expressed in different passions: sharing, caring, giving, receiving, laughing, crying, hurting, leaving, pleading, forgiving, or even losing and getting it back again and again. Love never changes its effects and colors: the happiness and contentment in the heart and soul of its beholder.

About the Author

GEORGE ERGO ESPINOSA earned his degrees of Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) at California Coast University (CCU), Postgraduate Diploma in International Relations (Diplomacy) at Oxford University, Bachelor of Science in Education (BSE - English and Pilipino) at the University of the East (UE), and Vocational/Practical Nursing (VN/PN) Program at American Career College (ACC). He worked as Language Instructor at UE, University of Vienna, and Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), as Cultural Officer in the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippine Government, and Cultural Attache of the Philippines to Austria. At present, he is a Notary Public (2012-2016) of the State of California, commissioned by the Secretary of State. He is affiliated as Member in various state, national, and international organizations such as the United Teachers of Los Angeles (UTLA), California Federation of Teachers (CFT), National Educators Association (NEA), International Honors Society (IHS), American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), and as Poet Laureate of the International Society of Poets (ISP). Dr. Espinosa’s educational achievements and awards include as Philippine Representative to the Ship for Southeast Asian Youth to Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines, United Nations Asian Pacific (UN-ASPAC) Fellow to Japan and Korea, and Colombo Scholar at Oxford University in the United Kingdom (UK). POEMS FOR THE HEART (Love Poems and Passions) is Dr. Espinosa’s third book on poetry, a collection of the poems he has written since his inception of the “wonders and passions” of love.
