About the Book
This is the story of a baby boy left at an orphanage in 1932 and adopted by an older couple. He reveals his adventures in growing up in Florida including hitchhiking to the State Fair at the age of ten or when he saw a two year old dead body in a glass coffin. We follow him through childhood and his first year of military service. His loving parents and faith in God led him through some difficult times.
About the Author
Author James A. Ryals is retired from the military, insurance industry and former store owner. Co-author Carol S. [OCHSNER] Ryals is retired from banking and is presently a librarian at a local church. They enjoy garage sales and cruising on ships. They live in Omaha, Nebraska.
