ElMin

ElMin sat outside on a rocky ledge, preparing for his duties of the day. There was much to accomplish this day, for the world around him needed much attention. He settled into a favorite position, comforted his form, which he had grown to love, closed his eyes and turned his attention inward. As if seeing a dark cloud pass by, light began to filter through his inner vision and soon the now familiar dance of lights began. Each color sparkled and glistened in its own moment, then diminished and stepped aside for the next. The interplay of colors and light dazzled the imagination and drew him deeply within the space of All Knowing. It was from this place that he would begin his work. * The world around ElMin was not well formed or orderly. The chaos of the outer world reflected the inner chaos of the new inhabitants. Their confusion, despair and feelings of separation were creating the dramatic storms and traumatic plate shifts that occurred daily. One of ElMin's jobs was to assist these beings in grounding their Loving energies into themselves and the earth, so that their environment would become more stable and less threatening. Huge undertaking for such a small group of beings! Today, his attention was drawn to one such being - Thorm. Within the beautiful dancing lights, Thorm's face began to appear. A strong, solid face - the face of a warrior. The glistening eyes never revealing the internal terror being felt. ElMin focused all his attention into the center of Thorm's forehead. Breathing deeply, he sent the power of the breath directly into the center of Thorm's mind, each breath penetrating deeper, blowing away the scattered thoughts and empty spaces. When the mind was cleared, ElMin began the glowing process, emanating the glowing light of Love into the prepared mind. This process would be repeated again and again, over and over, until Thorm's mind was once again at rest and certain of its fearlessness. Only then could ElMin move on with his daily routines. Only then was he prepared.
