About the Book

When Cody Campbell hires migrant workers for his shipping business, he has no idea how much trouble he’s just brought upon himself. Even so, Ricardo Lopez is hard working, as is his crew—including the beautiful Anita Lopez. Although Cody already has a relationship with his secretary, he quickly drops her for his exotic new employee.

When Ricardo Lopez’s brother is murdered, he and Anita return to Mexico for his burial rites. They return a few months later and Anita is pregnant with Cody’s child. Their happy reunion is interrupted when she and Ricardo are arrested for bank robbery. All is not as it seems as the trial commences.

Everyone is a suspect as the bodies pile up—even Cody, who struggles to care for his newborn son with Anita in prison. Are the migrant workers behind all the crime in Cody’s small town, or is someone more nefarious at the reigns? Hopefully, the case will be closed … before they all end up dead.
