Until Death

Kale had been hiding in the shadows because he had known that there was only one way out of the house and that was where he'd been waiting for them. Kale had seen Rain take Lyllyn into the room and he also waited for the others to pass by before going after them. Kale opened the door knowing what the first thing he’d see would be and sure enough there she was still hanging on the fucking wall where he’d left her many years ago. He had hoped not to ever return but that seemed like Lyllyn so far. It was his second mother and when he looked around he found himself face to face with Rain with his gun out for the first time. The two of them just froze as they stared at each other for the first time. The similarity was to close and Kale had to wonder if they were related. Hearing her call for Rain broke the silence and Rain pulled her up to stand with him, which threw Kale off his guard. Kale didn't like seeing her with this guy at all and felt like she was his. Kale could only stare at Lyllyn while Rain reassured her of her safety. Lyllyn had to lean over Rain to keep herself up while Rain couldn’t believe that Kale had done this to her. How could Kale do this to anyone was a bigger problem? Rain helped Lyllyn stay up as he wanted to know from Kale if she was going to wind up like the woman on the wall if he wouldn’t have come along? Rain had no idea who the woman on the wall was and Kale informed him that Lyllyn was too good for that sort of death. He would have just kept her in a cage like a little pet until she died. Rain did not like Kale at all and warned him to leave them alone because he didn’t want to stick around to find out what Kale had planned for them. Kale was obviously going to have to regroup but for now he'd known to just wait. After all good things happen when you wait. As Rain helped Lyllyn stay on her feet, Kale took the chance to pull out his gun and cause a stale mate for the two of them. Gun’s face to face now and neither of them really knew what to do. Kale could only find it suitable for his mother to be watching over this special moment in history. The one he almost messed up. The two of them had felt as if they both had been looking into a mirror when they both got images of the past running through their heads. Kale thought about the dead baby his father killed and Rain about how his mother had found him. Just as Rain and Kale were going to make their suggestions Tirone rushed into the room to help Rain. Kale warned them that only he could save Lyllyn from the poison in her blood. Even though he was lying Rain wasn't taking any chances in killing Kale. Kale was just as quick though since he knew to hold his gun at Lyllyn’s head and let them all know that if he couldn’t have her then no one could. Rain knew that Kale wouldn’t shoot Lyllyn but worried about himself and Ti and he slowly moved towards the door with Lyllyn and Tirone. As Rain left with Lyllyn, Tirone closed the door and locking it behind him in hopes that it would slow Kale down. Kale could only smirk since locking the door was a hopeless thought and at the same time he was glad that they hadn’t shot him. Kale looked over at his mother and was shocked that it had completely slipped his mind about something that had happened to his other mother. The mother that didn’t deserve to die. The mother that Kale loved and hated at the same time. The mother that gave Kale a reason to get rid of his father and that was why he took over. Kale was going to have more fun now since he might have caught onto something. All he needed was a DNA sample now.
